I have run my own stone and marble workshop for over twenty five years and it became a daily prevalence to possess guests wanting to shop for a piece of stone or marble to strive out stone carving. I've got a soft spot for all wannabee artists so I would never charge for the stone, asking instead that they create back their piece of work therefore that I might see how they got on.
